Different casks are used in the making of the whisky in order to capture both the classic, the elegant & floral character of Bruichladdich. Made of 100% Scottish barley & produced using the trickle distillation method, not peated & matures in American oak casks on the shore of Lochindaal.
Notes of barley & a hint of mint which are followed by scents of wild flowers & caramelized fruits. Dominant aroma of sweet oak & barley being underlined by notes of brown sugar, sweet malt & ripe green fruits.
